What Yobble is
Yobble makes personalized children's storybooks. You tell us about a child — their name, age, a spark of a story, optionally a photo or a description — and we write and illustrate a book starring them using AI. You get a digital book you can read on any device and download as a PDF, and you can order a printed keepsake copy shipped to your door.
Yobble is a service for adults. You must be 18 or older to make a purchase or hold an account. It's built for parents, guardians, and gift-givers making books for the children in their lives — children don't use Yobble themselves.
Your account
You sign in with your email via a magic link — no passwords. If you buy as a guest, we create an account for you at checkout using the email you gave Stripe, so your book has a home in your library. You're responsible for keeping access to that email secure.
Pricing and payment
Yobble is priced per book. Current prices are always shown on the pricing page and again at checkout before you pay — what you see there is what you're charged.
- Digital books: a one-time charge per book. The price covers the full supporting cast — adding family members or pets doesn't change it — and the checkout button always shows the exact price for the book you built.
- Book packs: one checkout grants a set of book credits to your account at a lower per-book price. Credits from packs don't expire — spend them on any book, whenever you're ready.
- Printed keepsakes: softcover and hardcover editions of a finished digital book, printed on demand. The price and exact shipping cost for your address are shown before you confirm the order.
- Gifts: you can buy a book as a gift. You pay the single-book price; the recipient gets a link and a claim code, and the gift covers their book — no charge to them.
All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Subscriptions (existing subscribers only)
We no longer offer new subscriptions — Yobble is priced per book. If you already have a subscription: it renews automatically each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal on your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Book credits granted by a subscription expire 7 days after the end of the billing period they were granted in.
The Happy-Tears Guarantee
If their face doesn't light up, you don't pay. If you're not happy with a book, email hello@yobble.co and we'll remake it free — or refund every penny, and you keep the book. For printed keepsakes that arrive damaged or misprinted, we'll reprint or refund.
Photos and consent
Only upload a photo if you have the right to share it — for a child, that means you're their parent or guardian, or you have the parent or guardian's permission. We use the photo solely to create the child's illustrated character, and the original photo is deleted from our storage promptly after the book is generated. Acceptable use
Yobble is built for warm, kid-safe storytelling. Don't use it to:
- Generate sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content.
- Upload photos of children without the consent of their parent or guardian.
- Impersonate someone else, generate hate speech, or violate anyone else's rights.
We run automated and manual moderation on the inputs you provide and the content we generate. If we detect a violation we may refuse to generate the book, refund the charge, or close the account.
Ownership of generated books
You own the personalized story and illustrations we generate for you, for personal and family use. You may print copies for personal use, share digital copies with family, and give the book as a gift. You may not resell, redistribute, or use the generated content commercially without our written permission.
Yobble retains ownership of the underlying templates, prompts, models, and software.
AI-generated content
Books are written and illustrated by AI models, which may occasionally produce unexpected results. We use safety filters, character consistency checks, and quality gates, but we can't guarantee a perfect book on every attempt — that's exactly what the free preview and the Happy-Tears Guarantee are for.
Printed keepsakes
Printed books are produced and shipped by our print-on-demand partner. Delivery estimates are shown at checkout; most orders arrive within 7–10 days, though carrier delays can happen. If a printed book arrives damaged or with a printing defect, contact us and we'll make it right.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but don't promise 100% availability. Maintenance, vendor outages, or unexpected issues may cause downtime. If a generation fails because of a system issue and you were charged, we'll make the book right or refund you.
Liability
Yobble is provided "as is." To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Yobble at any time and request account deletion by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abuse.
Changes to these terms
We'll update this page when we change anything material, and bump the "last updated" date at the top. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
