Privacy

Last updated: May 5, 2026

Yobble is a personalized children's book service. We take privacy seriously — especially because making a book involves photos and details about a kid. This page explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

What we collect

Photos — the part that matters most

Original uploaded photos are stored in a private bucket — no public URL, accessible only via service-role credentials. EXIF metadata (location, device, timestamps) is stripped on upload. We use the photo only to generate a children's-book version of the kid for their book.

The original photo is deleted as soon as the book is generated (typically within a few minutes of upload). The stylized cartoon portrait stays — it's the product.

You can also delete all your uploaded photos at any time from your account page.

How we use your data

We do not sell or rent your data. We do not use your photos or children's details to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.

Who else sees your data

We use a small set of vendors to operate the service:

Each vendor processes only the data needed for its role. Stripe never sees a photo; Anthropic never sees your card.

How long we keep things

Children's data

Yobble is intended for use by adults (parents, family, friends) who are making a book for a child in their life. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has somehow created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

You can:

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when we change anything material, and bump the "last updated" date at the top. For significant changes we'll also email account holders.
